What if one that fateful night Christine had decided to stay with Erik,in our story she does.Not being able to leave him alone she agreed to stay with the phantom even forgive him for what he's done,freeing Raoul and giving him the boat he promised Christine he would win her back no matter what and left.As the opera house burned above,Christine and Erik escaped through a secret way in a mirror and vanished without a trace.
Raoul heartbroken agreed to help rebuild the Opera Populaire,and become it's soul manager along with Madame Giry.For two years they worked to restore the opera populaire back to it's former glory,everything from the top of the roof to the bottom except in the catacombs it had been untouched.Raoul would stay away from the opera populaire only coming when he felt it was needed he be there,and when the opera house was due to reopen a letter arrived to Madame Giry and Meg it was from Christine.
It said she and Erik had fled and stayed away,but got seperated.She had heard of the rebuilding of the opera populaire and decided to come back,Raoul was overjoyed and even Madame Giry and Meg we're as well.Soon a new cast was set to start practising for upocoming shows,even La Carlotta came back knowing her place now.Christine the star of every production to be held in this new opera house,not wanting a repeat of what happened two years ago.
Christine longs for her angel of music,and when she visits his place in the catacombs she sees it has been lived in once more.She told only Madame Giry and Meg,not wanting to stir up old scars for anyone.What is the phantom's plan this time,will Raoul win Christine's heart this time round or will Erik keep his sweet angel close to him........come see at Guide and Guardian.
