Shiloh yawned as she made her way out of the smaller thrift store, her hands holding a bag that jingled with necklaces and bracelets that Shiloh was notorious for buying. A thrift store regular, she was very delicate and percise with her options, and what she wanted. But not today, today she was on a spree; Shiloh loved spoiling herself and Dallas. Speaking of whom, she even picked up a beautiful faux-silk scarf for her boyfriend. Shiloh smiled to herself as she thought of the male she had for a boyfriend; her mother would be proud to know she had someone like Dallas with her. He was amazing and he made her feel so safe. Maybe Shiloh was exaggerating, but when the lycan was in love - which wasnt rare since she was loyal to one and only one - she tended to exaggerate. As Shiloh passed a small streetside cafe, she paused and looked back at the people sitting there. Humans. It wouldnt harm her to sit there and grab a bite to eat, would it?
Setting herself in the proper direction, Shiloh's jeaned legs carried her to the enterance of the cafe, as she pulled her navy blue zip up closer around her body. She wasnt cold, she just assumed that the other customers didnt want to see her chest. Her undershirt was almost see-through from the fact that it had been with her since she was turned. It was so thin because it had stretched with her body, and was thrown in the wash a million and a half times a week. Refusing to give it up though, Shiloh kept it close to her and never misplaced it. As a waiter escorted her to the sidewalk cafe, she took a seat with three chairs and placed the bag on the chair beside her. Shiloh sat at a table somewhat close to the fence incase she met one of her friends or even better, Dallas. Although she knew her little escapades through the thrift stores were a little random, maybe Dallas would be having a random day too.
A menu was placed infront of her and she scanned over it, not really in the mood for a heavy lunch, but not in the mood for a light one either. Choosing her poison (a diet coke,) Shiloh scanned over the salads, before sighing and looking over the wraps. It wasnt like her to be picky but today had been one hell of a day, simply from the fact that Shiloh wasnt in the most amazing mood.

The morning had been long and boring. Dallas had spent most of it working as a cook in one of the nicer breakfast restaurants in town. The downside to living on his own was the fact that he had to pay for rent himself. That was probably the only downside that he could think of. After his shift had ended, he had stopped back at his apartment to pick up his puppy. He loved the dog so much, and he seemed to bring it with him where he went. Currently a hot pink leash was wrapped around his thin wrist and a beagle puppy was attached to the other end. Most guys would be too embarrassed to have a dog with a pink leash, but Dallas had never been one to care what others thought of him. Plus most of the humans were too interested in checking him out.
Dallas had no idea as to what he should plan on doing for the rest of the day. Normally he would spend the day with Shiloh or end up working. Life was fairly simple for him, just the way he liked it. Dallas didn’t do complicated. He was the kind of guy that preferred to stand on the sidelines and just stay quiet. It was hard to stay on the sidelines when people were attracted to him. Honestly, he hated what he was. It made it all that harder to be a good boyfriend. He wasn’t supposed to fall in love. People like him weren’t supposed to fall in love. Sex was supposed to be meaningless, but instead he had fell in love with someone. That was far from the plan. He let out a sigh and headed towards one of the cafes he had previously worked at.
Two dark brown eyes fell upon one of the girls sitting alone outside the café, and a smile flashed across his face. He ignored the eyes that continued to follow him, and moved with determination to the blonde girl. Stopping next to her, he leaned down and gave her a brief kiss on the cheek before moving to one of the empty seats at the table. Resting his elbows on the table, he leaned in towards her. ”What have you been up to all day?” He asked in his quiet voice. Unintentionally he had a quietly seductive voice. He blamed it on his looks, well more of what he was. Everything about him was designed for humans to fall in love with him. Most humans he despised, but he needed them.

Everything on the menu looked nice, but the werewolf wasnt interested in eating at this moment. As a waiter came in to collect her menu, she placed an order for her drink and that was it. When asked if she would be joined, Shiloh could only replied with a possibly, since she was sure Dallas would either show up, or not show up. It wasnt like she had actually asked for a lunch date with him, if he showed, that would be an amazing addition to her not so amazing day, and if he didnt, well she could go through some more stores before going to see if he was home. Shi watched the people passing by, looking for a reason to believe that they were all human or all werewolves. Nothing gave her any sign of anything. Sighing quietly she smiled when her drink was placed infront of her, as well as another smaller, strictly for lunch menu, and the waiter said he'd be back to check up on her. Aww, how sweet. Taking a drink, Shiloh scanned over the lunch menu, hardly catching the noise of a leash or the footsteps of her boyfriend until soft lips kissed her cheek.
A smile came onto her lips as she heard Dallas' voice; she looked over at him as he sat down. "Hey you." She said quietly, smiling before answering his question. "Nothing too much, went shopping. Ooh! I got you something." Shi picked up the bag holding a few necklaces and his scarf, pulling it out all nicely bundled in her hand, the faux-silk feeling nice in her hand. "I hope you like it, I wasnt sure if you'd want a scarf or something else." Shiloh was an impluse buyer, if she liked it she got it. But then again Shi always used what she bought; if it were clothes she'd wear them and then give them away if she didnt need them anymore. See? She was a nice kid.
Shiloh pushed the menu over to Dallas; she still wasnt sure what she wanted yet. Maybe just a salad would work for her today.

A knowing smile passed his lips. Of course she had gone shopping. What else was there to do around here? Actually Dallas could think of many, but sometimes it was better to remain quiet. It wasn’t until she pulled out the scarf that finally spoke, always having been a man of few words. ”Thank you. I love it. I can never have too many scarves.” He admitted with a smile. It was probably the most he would say for the rest of the day at one time. In public places he tended to be a bit quieter than when he was with Shiloh at his apartment. He reached out and felt the scarf with a small smile. It was nice having a girlfriend that thought of him. He was well aware of just how lucky he was to have Shiloh in his life.
Dallas had been happier with his life ever since he left his mother’s house. Life was easier for him without dealing with all of her boyfriends that came to the house and hated him. Plus life was more fun when he owned his own place and no one was there to monitor him and Shiloh. His mother had never even let a girl that he wasn’t related to into the house because she never trusted him. Now he could do whatever he wanted, although that didn’t mean he did. Compared to most teenagers owning their own homes, Dallas was on the more tame side. He didn’t throw wild house parties or have loud music on till hours of the night. that just wasn’t his style.
Picking up the menu that Shiloh had passed over to him; he opened it and scanned the page carelessly. Briefly he had worked at the café a while ago, but it had been in mornings instead of lunch. It didn’t take him long to come to a decision and place the menu back on the table. Within a minute the waiter had appeared at the table beside him asking what he wanted. ”Coffee. Black.” He recited to the waiter. It wasn’t much, but he wasn’t particularly hungry. Although it had been a while since he had eaten breakfast, he wasn’t nearly hungry enough to eat yet. ”What are you getting Shi?” He asked quietly, ignoring the waiter who was still waiting for her order.
